Archive has been open on Dundas Street for almost a year now and a lot has happened since the quiet uveiling of the studio. In October of 2008, David had a spotlight feature with Rory Lindo and Kelly Freeman of Damzels In This Dress in L'Oreal Fashion Week. For the show, he designed the graphics for most of their garments and for one line, hand-painted a series of pieces, featuring highly-stylized, graphic, tattoo-inspired images. The show was a total success.
The year had maintained a steady-pace with a solid work-load. David has started working back into other realms of artwork, spending more time painting and setting up a photo-studio. His hard work paid off in August of 2009, when David was featured as the "Best Tattoo Artist" in Toronto Life Magazine's Best of the City issue. The hard work continues, as Archive Tattoo Studio rapidly approaches it's one-year anniversary.
